uschina.us collects dated, named, sourced entries documenting what Americans and Chinese people have built, funded, taught and defended together since 1784, and what the United States has done in response to conditions Chinese citizens have faced under their own government since the mid-twentieth century. Every entry is held to the same four-part standard, set out in full under editorial position: dated, named, checkable, sourced.
The story of American-Chinese partnership and the story of American response to the Chinese Communist Party's conduct are usually told as if they belonged to different subjects. They don't. Both describe the same underlying relationship between two peoples, mediated for the last seventy-five years by a government that speaks for one of them and answers to neither. This site keeps both accounts on the same platform, under the same sourcing standard, so neither can be waved away as the other's propaganda.
